NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING

 

THE TOWN OF ST. LEO TOWN COMMISSION WILL CONDUCT PUBLIC HEARINGS ON A PROPOSED ORDINANCE AMENDING THE CODE OF ORDINANCES, TOWN OF ST. LEO TO AMEND PART III, ARTICLE X RELATING TO DEVELOPMENT REVIEW PROCEDURES AND DEVELOPMENT STANDARDS AND GUIDELINES FOR GENERAL SITE PLANS AND PLANNED UNIT DEVELOPMENT, AMENDING ARTICLE VII, SECTION 7.5 PERTAINING TO DEVELOPMENT REQUIRING PLANNED UNIT DEVELOPMENT REVIEW, AMENDING ARTICLE VII, SECTION 7.4.E. RELATING TO THE REQUIREMENTS FOR APPROVALS FOR DOCKS AND RELATED STRUCTURES, AMENDING ARTICLE VIII, SECTION 8.3 PERTAINING TO THE REQUIREMENTS AND PROCEDURES FOR TEMPORARY USES, AND AMENDING ARTICLE VIII, SECTION 8.1 PERTAINING TO THE REQUIREMENTS AND PROCEDURES FOR SPECIAL EXCEPTION USES, PROVIDING FINDINGS FACT; PROVIDING FOR CODIFICATION; PROVIDING FOR SEVERABILITY; AND PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE.

 

Public Notice is hereby given that pursuant to Section 3 of the Charter of the Town of St. Leo, Florida; there will be Town Commission meetings and public hearings at 7 PM on Monday, December 9, 2019 and on Monday, January 13, 2020 in the Town Hall, 34544 State Road 52, Saint Leo, FL 33574.  The Town of St. Leo Town Commission will consider the above-mentioned item at 7 PM, or as soon thereafter as the same may be heard.  This agenda item will follow quasi-judicial procedure.  It is considered as improper for an applicant or objector to discuss a case prior to the hearing with any Commission Member.  The details of the proposed ordinance are available for inspection at the Office of the Town Clerk, Monday through Friday, during the hours of 8 am to 4 pm.  Please direct your remarks to the Town Clerk in writing and those documents will be presented to the Commission.  In accordance with Florida Statutes, Chapter 286.0105, if a person decides to appeal any decision made by a governmental board, commission or agency, they will need a record of the proceedings.  It is up to the potentially adversely affected citizen to ensure that a verbatim record of the proceedings is made, including testimony and evidence upon which the appeal is to be based.  Any persons who may need such record may arrange for a court reporter to attend the public hearing.
