Public Notice 10/09/23 Annual Salary for the Town Commission Members

THE TOWN OF ST. LEO TOWN COMMISSION WILL CONDUCT A PUBLIC HEARING ON A PROPOSED ORDINANCE OF THE TOWN COMMISSION OF THE TOWN OF ST. LEO, FLORIDA, PROVIDING AN ANNUAL SALARY FOR THE TOWN COMMISSION MEMBERS; PROVIDING FOR FINDINGS OF FACT; PROVIDING FOR SEVERABILITY; AND PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE; PROVIDING FINDINGS OF FACT; PROVIDING FOR CODIFICATION; PROVIDING FOR SEVERABILITY; AND PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE.

 

Public Notice is hereby given that pursuant to Section 3 of the Charter of the Town of St. Leo, Florida; the final Town Commission public hearing will be at 7 PM on Monday, October 9, 2023 in the Town Hall, 34544 County Road 52, Saint Leo, FL 33574.  The Town of St. Leo Town Commission will consider the above-mentioned item at 7 PM, or as soon thereafter as the same may be heard.  This agenda item will follow quasi-judicial procedure.  It is considered as improper for an applicant or objector to discuss a case prior to the hearing with any Commission Member.  The details of the proposed ordinance are available for inspection at the Office of the Town Administrator and Clerk, Monday through Friday, during the hours of 8 am to 4 pm.  Please direct your remarks to the Administrator in writing and those documents will be presented to the Commission.  In accordance with Florida Statutes, Chapter 286.0105, if a person decides to appeal any decision made by a governmental board, commission or agency, they will need a record of the proceedings.  It is up to the potentially adversely affected citizen to ensure that a verbatim record of the proceedings is made, including testimony and evidence upon which the appeal is to be based. Any persons who may need such record may arrange for a court reporter to attend the public hearing.
