Proclamation of Appreciation Honoring Luke D’Ambrosio

WHEREAS, establishing an intern program and partnership with Saint Leo University has been a Town goal for many years;

WHEREAS, internships help students gain valuable work experience, explore career paths, set themselves apart in a competitive job market, develop and refine on the job skills, network with professionals, gain confidence, and transition into a skilled employee; and

WHEREAS, the Town of St. Leo will benefit by increased exposure to upcoming graduates and their diverse perspectives and assistance with many of the varied tasks required of St. Leo employees, and

WHEREAS, Luke D’Ambrosio served as the first Town intern, and has done so faithfully and with dedication and professionalism in a forthright and honest manner; and

WHEREAS, Luke D’Ambrosio gave generously of his time while first volunteering before transitioning into a paid employee, and

WHEREAS, the Town Commission recognizes the contributions Luke D’Ambrosio has made to the Town and the example he has set for future interns, and

NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the Town Commission of the Town of St. Leo, Florida, hereby expresses deep appreciation for the dedicated service of Luke D’Ambrosio and on behalf of residents and the community of St. Leo we extend gratitude and best wishes for continued success.

Duly proclaimed and adopted this 11^th day of July, 2022.
