ELECTIONS

Two commission seats will be open.  The term of office is two years.

Registered voters who reside within the Town of St. Leo municipal boundary may qualify as candidates.

TOWN COMMISSION MEETINGS

The St. Leo Town Commission Regular Meetings for Fiscal Year 2020-2021 are held at Town Hall. Meetings are normally scheduled on the second Monday of each month at 7 PM. Remaining scheduled meeting dates are as follows:

Additional meetings or workshops may be scheduled and advertised as required. Agendas may be obtained from the Clerk’s office or via the Town website. All interested parties are invited to attend and participate.

RENTAL PROPERTY

There are several rental properties in Town. If residents residing at rental properties would like to receive Town news, their names and addresses must be provided to the Clerk’s office.

CHRISTMAS TREE RECYCLING

Trees will be accepted at the following locations. More information will be available

ROAD UPDATES

-Stormwater and right of way easements are being worked out for the joint St. Leo/ San Antonio

Pompanic Street project. After details are finalized, the project will go out to bid.

-The engineering firm is working on plans for Christmas Drive. Plans are expected to be ready for review before the January 11 Commission Meeting; if so, the project will be added to the Agenda.

-Shakespeare Trail has been surveyed. Once the survey is received and the legal language is prepared, documents to convey the road to the Town will be sent to Shakespeare Trail residents for consideration.

WATCH CONSTRUCTION OF SAINT LEO UNIVERSITY’S WELLNESS CENTER

Construction continues on Saint Leo University’s new 59,000-square foot Wellness Center, with a planned completion date in Fall of 2021.  The center, located on the west end of campus, will provide a variety of features, making it a one-of-a-kind building.
