Bradz Lemonade Days focusing on raising funds for Basketball Camp and proceeds to help Feeding America!

Teaching kids’ life skills, sales, customer service and help the others in the community.

Saturday, July 9th and Saturday, July 16th. Bradley Mcdaniel 10 years old will host a Lemonade Stand to make money for a camp and any proceeds left over, he would like to give to Feeding America. The Lemonade Stand Days will be held July 9th and July 16th 9am-3pm at the Jiffy Deli Store located at 32951 College Ave, San Antonio, FL 33576. I recently attended the Elite Basketball camp at Saint Leo University thanks to my grandparents and really enjoyed all the skills that I learned from the experience. While attending the camp I realized there was another camp coming soon, this basketball camp gives me a chance to stay on campus and focus on my skills more. Realizing my grandparents just paid for this camp, I needed to come up with a way to raise funds. I explained to my grandparents, That I would like to raise funds to attend the camp and that I would like to earn the money to do so but needed their help on what I should do. My grandparents give me the idea to do the lemonade stand. My grandparents explained to me it would teach me life skills such as marketing, sales, and customer service. They also explained that I should give back any extra money to a cause, since the community would be helping me. So, I plan to “Pay it forward”.  I choose Feeding America, because they are the nation’s largest domestic hunger- relief organizations. Fifty-three million people go to food banks. According to USDA 38 million people and 12 million children in the United States are food insecure. Next step was finding the local area to host this stand. I was happy when my nana and me asked The Jiffy Deli store! They were happy to help me achieve this goal by letting me use an area to do the stand! They make great sandwiches, and they support the community! Next step was doing the marketing and that’s what I am doing now by sending this email out! I have so many more steps to do to achieve my goal, but I hope that the community comes out and supports me and Feeding America on these two Saturdays! Like the saying goes “work hard, play hard” in my case it will be squeezing harder hope to see you there!
