Open Commission Seat

Town Commissioner Seat #2 is open. The term ends in April of 2021. Interested residents are encouraged to contact the Town Clerk for more information.

Town Charter

Section 3.02. - Qualifications (Portion)
Any elector of the Town shall be eligible to hold the office of Town Commissioner provided (that person) shall have been a resident of the Town of St. Leo, for a minimum of six (6) months prior to assuming the office of Commissioner. The Commission shall be the judge of the election and qualifications of its members and of the grounds for forfeiture of their office.

Section 3.08. - Vacancies (Portion)

A vacancy on the Commission shall be filled by appointment by the Mayor with the consent of a majority of the Commission, of a qualified elector of the Town.

April 13, 2020 Town Commission Meeting

The regular April 13 meeting will occur as scheduled at 7:00 PM, however it will be held via telephone conference call. The call details will be published on the Agenda. Public Comment will be included on the call; comments will also be accepted via email (townclerk@townofstleo.org) until 4:00 PM on April 13 for inclusion in the meeting. The Agenda will be published on the Town website (www.townofstleo.org) and available via the Clerk’s Office.

Town Hall hours and operations will remain fluid throughout the COVID-19 pandemic. We will make every effort to maintain working hours and business processes while being mindful of resident, public, and staff safety precautions. The door intercom will be utilized to speak with guests when necessary. Permitting documents will still be accepted via email and processed as soon as possible.
